While the news of her affair with married Nagarjuna made a lot of headlines, on the other hand, the actress was stuck in such a problem from which she was rescued by the villain of films Danny Denzongpa. This incident is from the year 1986 during the shooting of the film 'Diljala'. Directed by Sattiraju Lakshminarayan aka Bapu, this film starred Jackie Shroff and Farah Naaz in lead roles. Kajol's mother Tanuja, Danny, Rajesh Puri and other actors played important roles in the film. According to a report in the Times of India, when the shooting of this film was going on in Mauritius, Farah Naaz's younger sister Tabu was also present there to keep her company. 

During the shooting of this film, Danny Denzongpa organized a party at his house, where he invited his entire cast and crew. Farah Naaz also brought her teenage sister Tabu to this party. According to the claim made in the report, the lead actor of the film Jackie Shroff had drunk a lot of alcohol in this party and he forcibly tried to kiss Tabu. Tabu tried to free herself, but when Jackie Shroff did not stop his antics, Danny intervened and pulled Jackie Shroff away.

Tabu did not say anything about this whole incident, but reportedly her elder sister Farah Naaz was so angry with Jackie Shroff's behavior that she accused the actor in front of the media that the actor tried to force himself on her sister after drinking alcohol at the party.

However, later Farah Khan settled the matter by saying that it was just a misunderstanding. After this incident, Tabu did work in films in which Jackie Shroff was a part, but she never did any film opposite him.
