Rosemary oil is nothing short of a miracle remedy for hair; here is the right way to prepare and apply it..

Rosemary oil has recently gone viral on social media for promoting long, thick hair. While few previously realized just how beneficial rosemary could be, it is now a top priority in many hair care routines. If you are hesitant to buy it from the market due to concerns about chemicals, why not make it at home?

Rosemary Oil
Rosemary boosts hair growth by improving blood circulation in the scalp and strengthens hair right from the roots. Here is how to make it:

Ingredients
1 cup rosemary leaves

1 cup (equal amount) coconut or olive oil

Cotton cloth

Glass bottle

Method
To make the oil, wash the rosemary leaves thoroughly and dry them completely; ensure there is no residual water.

Place a pan on the stove and pour in the oil. Keep the heat low to preserve the oil's nutrients.

Add the rosemary leaves and let the mixture simmer gently over low heat.

Simmer the oil for at least 10–12 minutes.

This process allows the oil to absorb the nutrients from the rosemary.

Set the oil aside to cool for a while.

Next, use a cotton cloth to strain the oil.

Strain the oil through the cotton cloth into a separate container.

The rosemary leaves are now separated; store the oil in a glass jar.

Your rosemary oil is ready.

Best of all, it can be stored and used over a long period.

How to include it in your hair care routine?
To properly nourish your hair, it is important to apply the oil correctly. Warm the oil slightly before use. Then, apply it to your scalp using your fingers and massage your head with gentle pressure. For better results, cover your head for at least an hour after applying it, then wash your hair with shampoo. As for how often to use it, massaging with rosemary oil 2–3 times a week can prove beneficial.
