Today, Putrada Ekadashi of the Shukla Paksha (bright fortnight) of the Paush month is being observed. This Ekadashi holds special significance in Hinduism, as this fast is observed not only for the attainment of children but also to remove all obstacles in their lives and for their progress. If you perform special worship of Lord Vishnu on this day, all your wishes can be fulfilled. So, let's learn about all the important aspects related to this auspicious day (Putrada Ekadashi 2025), which are as follows:

Putrada Ekadashi Puja Rituals (Putrada Ekadashi 2025 Puja Rituals)
Wake up early in the morning, take a bath, and wear yellow clothes.
Take a vow of fasting with water in your hands.
Spread a yellow cloth on a platform in your home temple and install an idol of Lord Vishnu or Laddu Gopal.
Perform Abhishekam (ritual bathing) of the deity with milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar.
After that, bathe the idol with pure water and apply a tilak of yellow sandalwood paste.
Offer yellow flowers, seasonal fruits, yellow sweets, and Tulsi leaves to Lord Vishnu.
Remember, Lord Vishnu does not accept offerings without Tulsi leaves.
Read or listen to the story of the Putrada Ekadashi fast, as the fruit of Ekadashi is considered incomplete without the story.
Chant the mantras of Lord Vishnu.
Finally, perform Aarti.
Lord Vishnu's favorite flowers: Lotus, Parijat, Malati, Kewra, Champa, Rose, Mogra, Kaner, and Marigold flowers, etc.

Panchamrit and Panjiri - Offer coriander panjiri or roasted flour panjiri. Also include Panchamrit in the offering.
Yellow sweets - Offer besan ladoos, saffron kheer, or yellow fruits.
Mishri-Makhan - If you are worshipping Bal Gopal, offer him butter and sugar candy.

Cooking and eating rice is strictly prohibited in the house on this day. Donating yellow grains or warm clothes on this day multiplies the blessings manifold.
If possible, chant hymns and sing devotional songs in praise of Lord Vishnu on the night of this day.
