Peepal Tree: A peepal tree growing on the wall of your house gives these signs; learn the rules for removing it..

How to Remove a Peepal Tree from Your Home: Sometimes, a small peepal sapling sprouts on its own in cracks in the walls, corners of the roof, or damp areas of a house. Often, people ignore it, considering it a common plant. However, as it grows, many people uproot and remove it without much thought. According to Vastu Shastra and astrology, the growth of a peepal plant in a house is not considered an ordinary event.

Why is a Peepal Tree Growing in the House or on the Roof Considered Inauspicious?

In the scriptures, the peepal tree is given the status of an extremely sacred and revered tree, but its location is very important. According to the scriptures, the peepal tree yields auspicious results when planted in temple premises, on the banks of a river or pond, or in public places. However, if it grows inside the house, on the walls, or on the roof, it is not considered an auspicious sign. It is believed that the growth of a peepal plant in the house may be a sign of Pitru Dosha (ancestral affliction), which can lead to mental unrest, financial problems, or health issues in the family.

A peepal plant that grows on its own in the house is neither considered auspicious nor should it be removed without proper rituals. If such a plant has grown in your house, you should first have a proper puja (ritual worship) performed by a qualified Brahmin. In this puja, a special resolution is made for the peace of the ancestors and the removal of Pitru Dosha.

Remove the Plant Only After the Resolution

During the resolution, the intention should be that the peepal plant is being removed only for the purpose of appeasing the ancestors and removing Pitru Dosha. After this, the plant should be uprooted with complete devotion and care. It is important to note that the peepal plant should not be removed on Mondays and Saturdays, as these days are considered especially associated with the peepal tree. Sunday is considered the best day to remove the plant.

If a peepal plant has grown on the wall or roof of your house, it would be auspicious to complete this religious process correctly before the new year. Doing so will bring relief from Pitru Dosha and maintain peace, harmony, and positive energy in the house.
