Peepal: A peepal tree growing on the roof or wall gives inauspicious signs; know the rules before removing it..

You may have noticed that sometimes, for one reason or another, a small peepal sapling sprouts on its own in cracks in the walls of houses, on the roof, or in the corners of old buildings. Initially, people ignore it, considering it a common plant, but as it grows, many people uproot and throw it away without thinking. However, according to Vastu Shastra and astrology, the growth of a peepal plant in a house is not considered a normal occurrence.

Peepal Plant Growing Inside the House or on the Roof is Inauspicious
In Vastu Shastra, the peepal tree is considered extremely sacred, but its location is equally important. According to the scriptures, the peepal tree is considered auspicious near temples, rivers, ponds, or public places, but its growth inside the house, on the wall, or on the roof is considered an inauspicious sign. It is believed that the growth of a peepal plant in the house indicates Pitru Dosha (ancestral curse), which can lead to mental stress, financial problems, or health issues in the family.

What the Astrologer from Deoghar Says
Pandit Nand Kishore Mudgal, a renowned astrologer from Deoghar, explained that a peepal plant that grows on its own in the house is not auspicious, and it is not appropriate to remove it without proper rituals. If a peepal plant has grown in your house, you should first call a qualified Brahmin and have a proper puja (worship) performed for the peepal tree. During the puja, a resolution is made for the peace of the ancestors and for liberation from Pitru Dosha.

Uproot Only After Making a Resolution
During the resolution, it is clearly stated that "we are removing this peepal plant for the liberation from Pitru Dosha." Only after this should the plant be carefully uprooted. It is important to note that the peepal plant should not be removed on Mondays and Saturdays, as these days are considered especially associated with the peepal tree.

If you have to remove it, Sunday is considered the best day. If a peepal plant has grown on the wall or roof of your house, be sure to perform this religious ritual with proper procedures before the new year, so that you can be freed from Pitru Dosha and maintain peace, harmony, and positive energy in your home.
