Morning Routine for Kids: If children are taught good habits from childhood, they follow them throughout their lives. Good habits prove beneficial for the growth and health of children. If children are taught a positive and good routine from the beginning, then it leads to physical, mental, and emotional development. Morning routine plays an important role for children. It teaches discipline to children and helps in making them self-dependent. However, new parents often have a question about the morning routine of children, so that they can be happy and healthy.

Make children's morning routine like this (Tips for the Best Kids' Morning Routine)
Get into the habit of waking up on time - The first and most important thing is to get the child into the habit of waking up at a fixed time every day. Try to get to sleep and wake up at the same time every day. This sets his body clock, and he feels fresh. The time of waking up the child should be at least one hour before school time so that he can get ready comfortably.
Keep the morning environment calm and positive – The morning environment matters a lot for children. The atmosphere of the house should be positive, calm, and loving. Children feel stressed due to scolding or hurrying in the morning. You can start the day with some inspirational things, light music, or good thoughts in the morning. This makes the child do his work with full concentration.
Include healthy habits – Teach children some healthy habits in the morning routine. Washing face and brushing teeth as soon as you wake up, drinking water, 5–10 minutes of stretching or yoga, or the habit of going to the bathroom before breakfast is very good. Teach such habits to children. These small habits will strengthen their health and discipline in the future.
Do not forget to give a healthy breakfast – The child's day should start with a nutritious breakfast. Try to make the breakfast tasty and full of nutrition like milk, egg, fruit, poha, upma, or paratha. Keep away from TV or mobile during breakfast and make it a habit to sit and eat with the family. This will also give the child the company and communication of the family.
Teach them to get involved in the preparation – Instead of giving everything ready to the children, teach them to do little bits on their own. Like checking their school bag, preparing the uniform, wearing shoes, and taking a water bottle and tiffin. This will make them self-reliant, and they will learn to take responsibility for their things.

Do not keep the routine too strict – The routine of children should not be too strict, otherwise they start getting bored. Keep some flexibility in the routine and make it fun. Like – make a checklist, in which you have to tick after every task, or keep a star chart in which stars are given for good behavior. In a few days, the child will start liking this routine himself.
