Smartphones, which people use in their everyday lives, can prove to be very harmful for children. Nowadays, children have smartphones in their hands 24 hours a day, due to which most of their time is spent watching reels on mobile. This situation becomes more serious when the child does not even eat without a mobile. Due to this habit, many physical and mental problems are being seen in children. Such cases are increasing continuously in the psychiatry department of the district hospital. Due to mobile and screen addiction, the mental and physical development of children is getting affected, and their autism-like symptoms are also appearing, which is called 'Virtual Autism'.

Symptoms of virtual autism increasing in children
According to Dr. Ashish, a psychiatrist at the district hospital, when the screen time of children increases a lot, their mental development starts stopping. This condition is called 'virtual autism', and now this problem has increased a lot in children. Dr. Ashish said that 40 out of 50 children are showing symptoms of virtual autism, and some of these children are also being affected by severe autism.

What are the symptoms?

Virtual autism is a condition that is usually seen in children between 3 and 7 years of age. Nowadays, parents give mobile phones to children at an early age, but this habit seriously affects the mental development of children. The age of such children is between 5 to 10 years, and if it is not treated at the right time, then this problem can take a serious form.

Measures to prevent virtual autism in children

Some easy measures can be taken to avoid this problem. First of all, limit the screen time of children. Spend as much time as possible with the child and encourage them to use books. Give picture books to young children, so that they can stay away from the phone. Apart from this, take the children to the park and play with them and ensure that the child gets his full sleep.
