Ingredients

250 grams paneer
300 grams finely chopped onions
Tomato puree
Refined oil as needed
Salt to taste
Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder
Garam masala powder
Red chili powder
5 small, uncooked rotis (flatbreads)
Ginger-garlic paste
Cumin seeds
Coriander leaves

Method

- First, grate the paneer. Then, heat refined oil and cumin seeds in a pan. When the cumin seeds start to crackle, add the grated paneer and salt and sauté it.

- Then, add turmeric powder and garam masala powder as needed. Cook it on low heat for 5 minutes and then remove it from the heat.

- Now, make small rotis from the dough, place the paneer mixture on them, roll them up, and deep-fry them in hot oil.

- Now, to make the gravy, heat refined oil in a pan. Then, add bay leaf, cumin seeds, and ginger-garlic paste and sauté well.

- Once it's completely sautéed, add the finely chopped onions and sauté them. When the onions are well browned, add the tomato puree.

- Then, add yogurt and cook on low heat for another 5 minutes. Add salt, garam masala, and red chili powder. Add a little milk and keep stirring.

- When it starts to boil, add water and cook. Once the gravy is well-cooked and thickened, add the deep-fried paneer pockets and cook for another 5 minutes.
