The sequel to the 2023 film 'Jailer' hit theaters on October 15. Starring Rajinikanth, the film is raking in massive earnings—not just within the country, but globally; it has become a veritable 'money-printing machine.' It has delivered an outstanding performance over the last three days. How much did it collect today, on this Sunday holiday? Let’s find out.

How much did 'Jailer 2' earn on Sunday?
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film features Rajinikanth alongside several prominent stars from both South Indian cinema and Bollywood. As for its box office performance, the film is clearly benefiting from the Sunday holiday today—its fourth day of release. According to data from Sacnilk, the film has earned ₹55.85 crore today, bringing its total net collection to ₹199.90 crore.

'Jailer 2' joins the ₹300 crore club worldwide.

'Jailer 2' earned ₹59.70 crore on its opening day.
On its second day, Friday, the collection stood at ₹37.10 crore.
Yesterday, on its third day—Saturday—it brought in ₹47.25 crore.
'Jailer 2' is also performing exceptionally well on the global stage, having grossed ₹321.00 crore worldwide in just three days.

Star cast of 'Jailer 2'
For comparison, the original 'Jailer' (released in 2023) earned ₹48.88 crore on its fourth day; 'Jailer 2' has now surpassed this record. The star cast of 'Jailer 2' includes Mohanlal, Mithun Chakraborty, Ramya Krishnan, S.J. Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Yogi Babu, Jatin Sarna, Sunil Sukhada, and Vidya Balan in significant roles. Additionally, Hrithik Roshan makes a cameo appearance.

Release of 'Ranbali' Makes No Impact
The film 'Ranbali', starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, has been released alongside Rajinikanth's film. However, it appears to have not affect 'Jailer 2'. Furthermore, Bollywood films such as 'Prahar', 'Nayi Naveli', and 'Drishyam 3' have also failed to halt the box-office momentum of 'Jailer 2'.
