People do not celebrate Holi in Dusarpur village of Kaithal district of Haryana. It is said that this village was cursed by a Baba. Actually, after getting angry with a person in the village, the saint jumped into the fire of Holika and gave up his life. The burning Baba cursed the village. He said that if Holi is celebrated here now, it will be a bad omen. Due to this fear, Holi was never celebrated after years passed.
