With just a single sip, 'Watermelon Sherbet' infuses every pore with a sense of refreshing vitality..

During the scorching summer days, when even plain water feels insufficient to quench one's thirst, the mind craves just one thing—something that not only satisfies thirst but also infuses every corner of the body with a cooling sensation. In such moments, 'Watermelon Sherbet' is nothing short of a blessing. Its refreshing taste alone is enough to melt away more than half of one's fatigue.

**Watermelon Sherbet: A Powerful Dose of Freshness**
Watermelon consists of approximately 92% water, making it the ultimate summer fruit; however, when transformed into a sherbet, its potency is further enhanced. A single chilled glass of this beverage instantly hydrates your body and significantly reduces the risk of heatstroke. The most remarkable feature of Watermelon Sherbet is that it provides an abundance of energy without leaving the body feeling heavy or weighed down.

**Ingredients for Watermelon Sherbet**
Fresh Watermelon: 2–3 cups (cut into small pieces; seeds removed)
Mint Leaves: 10–12 (for freshness)
Lemon Juice: 1 tablespoon
Black Salt: ½ teaspoon (to enhance flavor)
Sugar or Honey: 1 teaspoon (optional; if the watermelon is not sweet enough)
Ice Cubes: As required
Chaat Masala: A pinch (for garnishing/sprinkling on top)

**Method for Preparing Watermelon Sherbet**
First, peel the watermelon and cut it into small pieces. Try to remove as many seeds as possible to ensure the sherbet does not acquire a bitter taste.

Take a mixer jar or blender. Add the chopped watermelon pieces, fresh mint leaves, black salt, and sugar into it. Now, blend the mixture until it becomes completely smooth.

If you prefer a perfectly smooth and thin sherbet, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve. However, since watermelon pulp is beneficial for health, you can use it without straining. Now, add fresh lemon juice to it and stir well.

Next, take a glass and add 2–3 ice cubes to it. Pour the prepared watermelon sherbet into the glass. Sprinkle a pinch of chaat masala on top, and garnish the rim of the glass with a mint leaf or a small piece of watermelon.

If you wish to make this sherbet even more exciting, add half a teaspoon of roasted cumin powder. This will not only double the flavor but also prove excellent for your digestion.
