While people often focus on the cardinal directions—North, South, East, and West—the central part of the house is considered the most crucial; this area is known as the *Brahma Sthan*. Therefore, this area should always be kept clean, open, and uncluttered.

**Why avoid placing heavy objects in the *Brahma Sthan*?**
Placing heavy or unnecessary items in the center of the house can obstruct the natural flow of energy. It is believed that this diminishes the positive atmosphere of the home and may lead to mental stress, financial hurdles, or various other problems for family members. Thus, keeping the *Brahma Sthan* as light and open as possible is considered ideal.

**Do not store junk or useless items**
Old newspapers, broken furniture, faulty electronics, or other unused items should not be accumulated in the center of the house. According to Vastu beliefs, clutter attracts negative energy and can compromise the home's positivity.
