You must have eaten kachoris of many things, including potato and onion, but you might not have tasted kachoris of urad dal. If you are thinking of making something special and new for your loved ones on a special occasion this time, then you can try this dish. Its wonderful taste will mesmerize the eaters. You can also surprise the guests coming to your house with this. Its taste will be on their tongue, and they will keep praising it. Now, do not wait any longer for this. These are made in less time and are also very easy to make. You can serve them with curd and chutney.

Ingredients
1 cup - urad dal
500 grams - wheat flour
A pinch of asafoetida
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
4 green chillies, finely chopped
Salt according to taste
Chopped coriander leaves
Oil as per the requirement
Method
- First of all, wash the lentils and soak them in water for a few hours. - Then sift the flour in a vessel, add one spoon of oil and half a teaspoon of salt, and knead the dough softly, keeping the dough covered.
- After this, drain the water from the lentils and keep the lentils in a sieve and grind them.
- After this, heat oil in a pan, then on medium flame, add green chilies and ginger-garlic paste in the hot oil and fry it for some time.
- Then add asafoetida and lentils in the oil and stir with a big spoon. Now add salt and green coriander to the lentils and mix them.
- Then fry it on medium flame for a few minutes and let the lentil mixture cool down. After this, make small balls of dough and roll them into puri.

- After this, place the lentil mixture in the middle of the puri with a spoon and turn the four corners of the puri and close it.
- Now, place the lentil-filled kachori between both palms and press it lightly with your hand. Similarly, prepare other kachoris as well.
- After this, heat oil in a pan and then add the kachoris in it and fry them on medium flame, and then keep them in a plate covered with a napkin paper.
