You may have seen plenty of rivers, waterfalls, mountains, and lush green forests, but few are aware of this thrilling journey. We are talking about India's skywalks, which offer heavenly views—though enjoying them requires a brave heart. Simply visiting them can make even the boldest among us break into a sweat, yet the experience makes you feel as though you are walking on the sky.

Sikkim: Pelling Skywalk
If you look at the Northeast, almost every spot there is mesmerizing. One such place is the Pelling Skywalk in Sikkim, counted among the country's most famous 'glass bridges.' The highlight here is the view of Kangchenjunga—the world's third-highest peak—visible from the bridge. It is an excellent choice for a unique and memorable experience.
Bihar: Rajgir Glass Bridge
Located amidst the Ratnagiri hills in Bihar's Nalanda district, the Rajgir Glass Bridge stands at a height of approximately 200 feet. It was inspired by the Hangzhou Bridge in China. Visitors can enjoy views of the Nature Safari and the surrounding lush green forests from this vantage point.
Tamil Nadu: Kanyakumari Glass Bridge
If you wish to experience something different from lush green forests, head to the Kanyakumari Glass Bridge in Tamil Nadu. It is the country's first glass bridge built over the sea. The bridge connects the 133-foot-tall Saint Thiruvalluvar statue with the Vivekananda Rock Memorial.
Kerala: Wayanad Glass Bridge
The Wayanad Glass Bridge, located in the Thollayiram Kandi area of Kerala, is equally stunning. Constructed using unbreakable fiberglass imported from Italy, this bridge is part of a private resort. This bridge is constructed at a height of approximately 100 feet.

Maharashtra: Napne Glass Skywalk
Visiting this glass bridge during the monsoon season offers a unique and delightful experience. It is built over the Napne Waterfall in the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra. Promoting eco-tourism, the bridge features paintings of colorful butterflies and local flora and fauna, which further enhance its beauty.
