Tere Ishk Mein Movie Review: Dhanush-Kriti Sanon's film 'Tere Ishq Mein' turns out to be a flop..

Dhanush is a brilliant actor, but Anand L. Rai fails to fully utilize his talent in "Tere Ishq Mein." To be honest, I had high expectations from Anand L. Rai, who made films like "Raanjhanaa" this time. I thought I'd see something different. I'd been waiting for this film since the teaser and trailer, but as soon as the film began, I understood the plot of "Tere Ishq Mein." So, let's tell you how the film is...

The first half of the film is very boring. At times, you'll feel like getting up from your seat. The story is slow and weak. It's all about crying from start to finish, but this Dhanush-Kriti Sanon film won't make you cry at all, so there's no need to bring a handkerchief. However, as soon as the film seems to pick up some pace after the interval, it starts to fall back on its old track. Even the climax isn't strong enough to save the film from sinking. The story lacks a compelling plot or ending. There's nothing new, and the original content we often talk about is missing from the film.

In the film, Dhanush plays Flight Lieutenant Shankar, the father of Kriti Sanon (Mukti) and Prakash Raj (Shankar).

Shankar is a student leader at a Delhi college who is prone to violence. Meanwhile, Mukti, a girl from the same college, tries to reform him. Shankar falls in love with Mukti, but she never loves him. Shankar remains trapped in this unrequited love, even though Mukti repeatedly explains to him that she cannot love him. Mukti's father, an IAS officer, once scolds Shankar severely, telling him that if he wants to marry her, he must simply pass the UPSC prelims. Shankar then works very hard. Three years later, when he returns to Mukti's home after passing the prelims, he finds that she is engaged to be married to someone else. What will Shankar do next? Will Shankar and Mukti ever be together? You'll find the answers to these questions after watching the entire film.

Now, when it comes to acting, Dhanush's performance is flawless, while Kriti Sanon also gives her best. The only problem lies in the film's story. If the makers had put a little more effort into the climax, it might have been salvaged. However, the film's story is very weak from beginning to end. Neither are the film's songs particularly good. AR Rahman has composed music based on South Indian influences, which may not appeal to Hindi audiences.

Comparing this film to "Raanjhanaa," it has significant shortcomings. "Raanjhanaa" was a complete entertainment package, with comedy, emotion, and a triangular love story. "Tere Ishq Mein" feels incomplete. Overall, you can watch this film at your own risk. I give it 2 stars out of 5.
