If an artist deeply admires a particular show or film and subsequently gets the opportunity to be a part of its next season or franchise, it proves to be a truly special experience for them.

Something similar happened to Sonal Chauhan, the actress known for films such as *Jannat*, *3G*, and *Adipurush*. The web series *Mirzapur*—starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Divyenndu Sharma—happens to be Sonal's favorite web series.
Sonal to Appear in the *Mirzapur* Film*
Now that a feature film titled *Mirzapur: The Movie* is being produced based on the show, Sonal has landed a role in it—despite not having been a part of the original web series. Speaking about the film, she shares: "Working on this film was a wonderful experience for me, as I am a huge fan of *Mirzapur* myself.
I have watched every single season of the show. I never imagined that one day, I would actually become a part of the *Mirzapur* universe myself. The film's team never once made me feel uncomfortable. We shot the entire film with a great deal of fun and enthusiasm. I am sure the audience will enjoy watching it just as much."
Sonal's Favorite Character
When asked about her favorite character in the show, Sonal says: "Kaleen Bhaiya, Munna, and Guddu—these three are my absolute favorites. However, if I had to pick just one favorite among the three, I would choose Munna. He was a character with so many distinct and multifaceted layers."
Where Was the *Mirzapur* Film Shot?
Sonal was also part of the Varanasi schedule for the film. Sharing her experiences of shooting there, she reveals: "Banaras (Varanasi) is one of my favorite places in the world. I have immense faith in Lord Shiva. I have shot in Kashi before, and whenever I visit, I make it a point to visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

I visited it this time as well. Banaras is one of the most ancient cities in the world—a truly sacred city. Anyone who gets the chance to visit is truly blessed. By the grace of God, I had a wonderful experience there in every respect—from shooting to sightseeing, enjoying the local food, and offering my prayers at the Vishwanath Temple."
