Based on the *Udaya Tithi* (the sunrise date), the month of Sawan will commence on July 30, 2026.

Worship Ritual

To worship Mahadev, first offer Gangajal (water from the Ganges) and pure water to the Shivling.

Next, perform *Abhishek* (ritual bathing) of Lord Shiva using milk, curd, and ghee.

Now, offer honey and, finally, perform *Abhishek* with water once again.

Offer *Belpatra* (wood apple leaves), *Aak* flowers, fruits, and seasonal grains to the Shivling.
