In Sanatan Dharma, worship has special significance. Regular worship not only brings peace to the mind but also brings happiness and prosperity to the home. Sometimes, people overlook certain things during worship, which have negative consequences in our daily lives. If you are going to perform worship, avoid these mistakes. Only then will you receive the full benefits of worship. According to scriptures, purity and correct rituals are essential in worshipping God. Incorrect worship does not yield the full benefits. There are specific religious rules for every task, from the temple in the home to lighting a lamp and applying a tilak to God. Following these rules eliminates negative energy from the home and brings in positive energy.

It will have adverse effects.
Acharya Sitaram Das of Ayodhya advises that if you are going to perform worship, take a bath and wear clean clothes. One should never light a lamp from another lamp during worship. According to religious belief, doing so increases poverty and also hurts the financial situation. There is a method for applying a tilak to deities. It is always auspicious to apply a tilak to God with the ring finger. The scriptures describe the positive significance of a tilak made of sandalwood, kumkum, and turmeric.
Apologize:
One should never perform a puja without sitting on a seat. This does not yield the desired results. Ganga water should also never be stored in a plastic bottle. It is always auspicious to store it in a copper or brass bottle. Do not pluck Tulsi leaves on Sundays, Ekadashi Tithi, and in the evening. Blowing the conch after puja is highly auspicious. Begin any puja by praying to Lord Ganesha. After the puja is over, one should pray to God to forgive any mistakes committed, knowingly or unknowingly. Only by doing so will one receive the virtuous results of the puja.
