The relationship between celebrities and the paparazzi has always been a bittersweet one. While on one hand, these cameras keep stars in the limelight, on the other, they sometimes intrude so deeply into their privacy that the stars' anger reaches a boiling point. In recent times, there have been several instances where major veteran actors, exasperated by the antics of cameramen, have publicly lost their cool.

The newest and most prominent name on this list is that of superstar Salman Khan. Salman recently lashed out severely at the paparazzi outside a Mumbai hospital, where he had gone to visit someone. As soon as 'Bhaijaan' stepped out, photographers began loudly shouting his name and the title of his upcoming film, *Matrubhoomi*. An irate Salman walked straight up to them and angrily exclaimed, "Are you guys crazy?"
The matter did not end there; Salman vented his frustration by sharing four back-to-back posts on social media. He wrote that the very press he had always looked out for was now reveling in his pain. Issuing a stern warning, he wrote, "I may have turned sixty, but I haven't forgotten how to fight—remember that." He further questioned those who were hooting for his film, asking whether a movie is more important than a human life during a moment of personal distress.
Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan’s name is also frequently in the headlines, as she often flares up over the paparazzi's behavior and lack of professionalism. During an event in 2025, while reprimanding photographers for their unruly conduct, she stated unequivocally, "You guys take your photos, but don't be rude. Stay quiet, keep your mouths shut, take your pictures, and be done with it."
The Nawab of Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan, has also expressed his displeasure regarding the paparazzi's antics. This incident occurred when Saif was present outside his younger son Jeh Ali Khan's football practice session. When he noticed that photographers were continuously filming the innocent children playing there, Saif's temper flared. Interrupting them immediately, he said, "The kids are playing football; don't turn this into a film event."
In 2025, Bollywood's *Gadar* star, Sunny Deol, also unleashed his fury upon the paparazzi. This incident occurred when his father—the veteran actor Dharmendra—returned home after being discharged from the hospital, only to find a crowd of media personnel gathered outside their residence. Concerned about his father's health, Sunny Deol lost his composure and shouted, "You people should be ashamed of yourselves; you are acting like fools, just mindlessly recording videos."

The "Chocolate Boy" of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor, has also appeared visibly annoyed by the attitude of the paparazzi on several occasions. Last year, when Shahid attended his children's school function alongside his wife, Mira, he became irritated by the incessant camera flashes while standing near his car. Citing the children's safety and privacy, Shahid reprimanded the photographers, telling them, "Don't do this with the kids, guys; you've already taken enough pictures."
