Never hang a calendar in this direction.
When hanging a calendar at home, make sure you never place it in the south direction or on the south wall. According to Vastu Shastra, placing a calendar in the south direction leads to a decline in the happiness, prosperity, and wealth of the house.

These directions are considered auspicious.
Leaving aside the south direction, you can place the calendar in the east, west, or north direction. Placing a calendar in the east direction is considered a sign of progress and new opportunities in life. It is considered extremely auspicious to place a red, pink, or green calendar in this direction, especially one with pictures of the rising sun or other auspicious symbols.

The north direction is considered the best for attracting wealth and financial prosperity. In this direction, you should place a calendar with pictures of rivers, seas, waterfalls, or auspicious events like weddings. Also, the use of green, blue, sky blue, and white colors is considered beneficial according to Vastu. The west direction is considered suitable for profit, achievement, and stability. Also keep these things in mind:
The calendar you hang in your home should not depict war, bloody scenes, desolate landscapes, withered trees, or images that spread sadness or depression. Similarly, pictures of carnivorous animals are also considered inappropriate from a Vastu perspective. Furthermore, never hang a new calendar over an old one. Doing so increases the influence of negative energy in the house.
