Hema Malini shared a post on her Instagram account praising the film. She described the performances of Sunny Deol and Shabana Azmi as outstanding and also responded positively to her grandson Karan Deol's acting. The 'Dream Girl' congratulated Aamir Khan for making this film, noting that she found its message deeply inspiring.

**Dharmendra Was Moved to Tears When He Watched 'Bantwara 1947'**
At the trailer launch event for 'Bantwara 1947', director Rajkumar Santoshi spoke about Sunny Deol's father, the legendary actor Dharmendra. He revealed that 'Bantwara 1947' was the last film Dharmendra watched. Santoshi said, "Dharmendra also watched this film and was deeply moved by it. The film has Dharam-ji's immense blessings. He was very emotional when he heard the narration; he was moved to tears and offered his heartfelt blessings. I believe this was the last film Dharam-ji watched. Even then, he said, 'Raj, this film will be a huge success. You all have done a wonderful job.'"

It is worth noting that the late actor Dharmendra was first married to Prakash Kaur. They have four children together: Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and daughters Vijeta and Ajeeta. Dharmendra later married Hema Malini; the couple has two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
