In today's world, hair fall and gradual thinning of the hair are no longer limited to a specific age group. Thinning hair, receding hairline, and visible scalp are becoming increasingly common even at a young age. The major reasons for this include increased stress, pollution, irregular lifestyle, poor diet, and hormonal changes in the body.

When hair loss is continuous and prolonged, it can lead to baldness. This affects not only one's appearance but also self-confidence and personality. However, the good news is that with proper care, patience, and some effective home remedies, hair growth can be reactivated.
The most reliable way to prevent baldness: Oil Massage
Hair oil massage holds a special place in proper hair care. This method is considered completely safe, affordable, and effective in the long run. Regular oiling not only nourishes the scalp but also strengthens the hair roots.
Oil massage improves blood circulation in the scalp, ensuring that oxygen and nutrients reach the hair follicles in the right amount. This process helps promote the growth of new hair. However, remember that an incorrectly performed oil massage is not as beneficial. Therefore, it is essential to follow the correct method.
How to massage your hair correctly?
1. Choosing the right oil is the first step
Not all oils are equally beneficial for hair growth and strengthening the roots. Some oils are considered particularly helpful in promoting hair growth—
Bhringraj oil: In Ayurveda, it is called 'Keshraj' (King of Hair). It strengthens the hair roots and accelerates the process of new hair growth.
Castor oil: The ricinoleic acid present in it activates the scalp and helps in increasing hair growth.
Coconut oil: It deeply nourishes the scalp, reducing dryness and dandruff. Rosemary oil: It increases blood circulation and activates hair follicles, strengthening the hair roots.
You can use one oil or mix two oils.
2. Don't forget to warm the oil slightly
Warming the oil slightly before massaging is very important. Slightly warm oil is absorbed quickly and deeply into the scalp. This allows nutrients to reach the roots directly, providing better nourishment to the hair.
3. Use the correct massage technique
While applying the oil, gently massage the scalp in circular motions with your fingertips. Massage for at least 10 to 15 minutes to ensure good blood circulation. Avoid rubbing too hard or using your fingernails, as this can weaken the roots.
4. What is the best time to apply oil?
Applying oil at night is considered most beneficial. The oil stays on the scalp all night, working its magic and deeply nourishing the roots. The next morning, wash your hair with a mild shampoo to remove the oil and keep the scalp clean.
5. Consistency is key to results
Hair growth doesn't happen overnight. It requires both patience and consistency. Massage your scalp with oil at least 3-4 times a week and follow this routine consistently for 2 to 3 months. Over time, you will notice reduced hair fall and new hair growth.

Extra care is also necessary for better results.
Just applying oil is not enough; internal nourishment is equally important. Include foods rich in protein, iron, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamin E in your diet. Also, get enough sleep daily and practice yoga, pranayama, and meditation to reduce stress.
If you make scalp massage a regular part of your lifestyle, you can significantly control hair loss and restore your hair's health.
