In Hinduism, the *Ekadashi* tithi (lunar day) is considered one of the most sacred days for worshipping Lord Vishnu. *Yogini Ekadashi*, which falls in the month of *Ashadha*, holds special significance. This year, this holy fast will be observed amidst auspicious celestial alignments. According to religious beliefs, worshipping Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi with proper rituals on this day brings blessings of happiness, prosperity, and abundance.

According to Ujjain-based astrologer Anand Bhardwaj, lighting a lamp at the right places on *Yogini Ekadashi* can lead to success in stalled tasks and open the doors of fortune. Let us find out where it is considered most auspicious to light a lamp on this holy day.
**When will *Yogini Ekadashi* be observed?**
According to the Vedic calendar, the *Ashadha Krishna Ekadashi* tithi begins around 7:46 PM on July 9 and concludes around 4:52 PM on July 10. Based on the *Udaya Tithi* (the sunrise tithi), the *Yogini Ekadashi* fast will be observed on Friday, July 10.
**Significance of *Yogini Ekadashi***
*Yogini Ekadashi* holds great importance in the scriptures. Worshipping Goddess Lakshmi alongside Lord Vishnu on this day is considered particularly significant. It is regarded as one of the most renowned *Ekadashis*. Observing the fast and performing worship on this day yields merit equivalent to feeding 88,000 Brahmins. Additionally, all your wishes are fulfilled; one is liberated from crises, poverty, and sins, and happiness enters one's life.
**Make sure to light a lamp at these four places**
1. On the evening of *Yogini Ekadashi*, be sure to light a *ghee* (clarified butter) lamp before Lord Vishnu. It is believed that this helps complete stalled tasks, fulfills wishes, and invites happiness, prosperity, and good fortune into the home.
2. On *Ekadashi*, definitely light a lamp of *ghee* or sesame oil near the *Tulsi* (holy basil) plant. This practice purifies the home's atmosphere and fosters a lasting presence of positive energy. Lighting a lamp near a Tulsi plant is considered a symbol of increasing wealth and happiness.
3. Be sure to place a lamp at the main entrance on the night of Yogini Ekadashi. It is believed that this light wards off negative energy and invites auspiciousness, peace, and prosperity into the home. This lamp acts as a protective shield for the house.

4. According to astrological and religious beliefs, lighting a lamp beneath a Peepal tree on this day is considered highly auspicious. Doing so invokes the blessings of ancestors, dispels negativity, and helps gradually resolve life's troubles.
