The trailer for Sriti Mukherjee's upcoming film 'Don't Be Shy' has been released. This young-adult romantic comedy has been produced under the banner of Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt's production house, 'Eternal Sunshine Productions'. Let's find out what makes the trailer special.

What’s in the trailer?
The 2-minute-32-second trailer for 'Don't Be Shy' introduces us to Shyamili 'Shy' Das (Aarushi Bajaj). Although she has her life meticulously planned out, things soon start to go awry. She finds herself torn between romantic feelings for the wealthy Mayank (Piyush Khati) and her childhood friend Dhruv (Ansh Duggal). Complications arise further with the sudden arrival of Tara (Bianca Arora) at college. Shy soon realizes that her carefully crafted plan to get her life on track isn't working.

Alia Bhatt shared the trailer for 'Don't Be Shy' on her Instagram. In the caption, she wrote, "First love, best friends, heartbreak, bad decisions—it has everything that is part of the journey of growing up."

Sriti excited about the film
In a statement, Sriti said, "'Don't Be Shy' is built on memories of the films I watched while growing up—movies I still turn to when I need to feel safe and comforted. It is my tribute to that phase of life when we stand on the threshold of adulthood but are, in many ways, still children. It is about realizing that no matter how chaotic or uncontrollable life gets, we can always find our way back to ourselves."

What did Aarushi say about the film?
Speaking about her character, Aarushi said, "Playing a character so vastly different from my real personality was both challenging and exciting." "Playing the character of 'Shai' allowed me to step out of my comfort zone. The role also came with a sense of responsibility; I wanted to give it my all and do justice to her journey. I am eagerly waiting for the audience to meet her and see the world through her eyes."
