In a conversation with the Free Press Journal, Mukesh Chhabra shared his thoughts on the age difference between Ranveer Singh and Sara Arjun. He said that the answer to the question of the age difference will be found in 'Dhurandhar 2', which is releasing next year. He stated that the age difference was in accordance with the film's story.

Mukesh Chhabra said, "I knew about it. The story is that he is trying to trap her. So we knew we needed a girl who was 20 or 21 years old. When the second part of the film is released, those questioning the age difference will get their answer. It's not that we don't have good actors in the 26-27 age group. But this was a requirement of the film. You can't explain everything to people. When I found out about the age difference, I was also laughing. It's perfectly fine, according to the film."
