Buckwheat is commonly used during fasting. However, there are many dishes made from buckwheat flour that make it seem like it can be eaten on days other than fasting. One such dish is buckwheat barfi. Its amazing flavor compels anyone to try it. Once it touches the tongue, it's unforgettable and forever a favorite. If you're thinking it's a daunting task to make, that's not true. We're sharing a very simple method. By following this recipe, you'll have no trouble preparing this tasty sweet dish.

Ingredients
2 cups buckwheat flour
1 cup grated coconut
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
1/2 cup finely chopped cashews
2 teaspoons cardamom powder
3 cups ghee
Method
First, heat the ghee in a pan.
- When the ghee is hot, add buckwheat flour to the pan and fry it on a low flame for 5 minutes.
- When the flour is fried well, add grated coconut to it and fry it.

- After frying the coconut for some time, add sugar to the pan and cook it well until it dissolves.
- When the mixture starts leaving the pan, add cardamom powder to it and turn off the gas.
- Now apply ghee on a tray, pour the mixture in it, and spread it.
- When the mixture starts cooling down a bit, cut the barfi into desired shapes with the help of a knife.
- Garnish the barfi with chopped dry fruits. Buckwheat barfi is ready.
