Alpha X Review: Sharvari outshines Alia Bhatt; fans give mixed reactions to ‘Alpha’, calling the storyline weak..

Alia Bhatt tried her hand at the action genre in 2024 with the film *Jigra*, but the attempt proved unsuccessful. She has made another attempt with *Alpha*. This spy action drama also features Sharvari Wagh and Bobby Deol alongside her. Here is how fans and audiences are reacting to *Alpha*, which was released in theaters today.

**Sharvari Outshines Alia**
*Alpha* was promoted as an Alia Bhatt film, and prior to its release, audiences viewed Sharvari as having a supporting role. However, post-release, Sharvari has overshadowed Alia. Many users are praising Sharvari more than Alia. One user wrote, "I think people will watch *Alpha* for Sharvari. Alia Bhatt just doesn't have that spark."

Another user wrote, "People are heaping praise on Sharvari's performance—even more so than on Alia Bhatt, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor."

**Did Hrithik Roshan's Cameo Help?**
The film *Alpha* also features a cameo by Hrithik Roshan. Commenting on this on X (formerly Twitter), a fan wrote, "It seems the background music kicks in when Kabir [Hrithik's character] appears in a special cameo to save Sharvari and Alia Bhatt. I found the theme a bit boring; it could have been made much better and more impactful." Essentially, Hrithik Roshan's cameo failed to salvage *Alpha*.

**Fans Disappointed with the Story**
While fans appreciated some of the action sequences in *Alpha*, the story left them disappointed. An X (Twitter) user wrote, "*Alpha* is a film that has some powerful scenes, but its average storyline holds it back." The user added, "The story is predictable from the very beginning, and there are very few twists that can truly surprise you." Another social media user dismissed the story of 'Alpha' as terrible. This user also found the VFX to be rubbish. Some users commented that the bikini scenes in the film were completely unnecessary.
