What is this feature?

The UIDAI shared information about a specific feature of the mAadhaar app in a post on its official X (formerly Twitter) account.

This feature allows you to manage the Aadhaar profiles of five different family members on a single mobile phone.

How to add Aadhaar profiles to one mobile?

Step 1

First, download the mAadhaar app on your mobile phone.
Then, register on the app using your Aadhaar number and complete the authentication process.
Once logged in, you will see several options.

Step 2

You will see an option labeled 'Add Aadhaar Profile'.
Click on this option.
You can then add the profile of any family member.
To do this, first enter the family member's Aadhaar number.

Step 3

Next, complete the verification process using the mobile number and OTP.
Once this is done, the family member's Aadhaar will be linked to the app.
This way, you can add profiles for up to five people on a single phone.
