Vicky Kaushal's starrer film 'Chava', which is fast moving towards becoming the first blockbuster of the year 2025, is being discussed everywhere. Based on the Marathi novel Chhava, this film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire. After watching the film, former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra also has the same question in his mind, which crores of Indians are asking.

'Why is Sambhaji not taught about?'
Aakash Chopra raised questions while writing a post on X, he said, 'Saw Chhava today. An incredible story of bravery, selflessness, and a sense of duty. The real question - why were we not taught about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in school? No mention anywhere!!!'
Aurangzeb Road in the country but…
Aakash Chopra then talked about the praise given to other Mughal rulers including Akbar and Aurangzeb. He further said, 'However we learned that Akbar was a great and fair emperor and even Delhi had a very main road called Aurangzeb Road. Why and how did this happen???
The film was released on 14 February.
Chava is directed by Laxman Utekar and now it is the biggest opening film of Vicky Kaushal as a lead actor to date. Akshay Khanna played the role of cruel ruler Aurangzeb in Chava while Rashmika Mandhana played the character of Sambhaji's wife Yesubai. Ashutosh Rana has also acted on his part with full honesty.
Broke records of success at the box office
'Chava' has become the highest grossing Hindi film of this year by earning Rs 164.75 crore at the worldwide box office in its first weekend. This film has surpassed the earnings of Akshay Kumar starrer 'Sky Force', which earned more than Rs 140 crore worldwide in the first three days of its release last month. According to the website Sacnilk, the total earnings of the film at the worldwide box office is Rs 164.75 crore. The film's earnings in India are Rs 139.75 crore and its net earnings are Rs 116.50 crore. The film has earned more than Rs 25 crore in foreign countries.
