According to media reports, Netflix has acquired the OTT rights for 'Dhruvandhar'. The makers have secured a lucrative deal. It is reported that Netflix has bought the rights for approximately Rs 130 crore. This amount is considered very significant given the current declining prices in the OTT market.

The film's deal is worth crores
A report by Bollywood Hungama, citing a source, states that this amount was decided for both parts of the film combined. The source said, "Netflix has paid Rs 130 crore for the streaming rights of 'Dhruvandhar'. This includes both parts of the film. Thus, the rights for 'Dhruvandhar Part 1' and 'Part 2' can be said to have been sold for approximately Rs 65-65 crore each."

The report further added, "This is a huge amount in today's times, when the prices of OTT rights have fallen considerably. If we combine both parts of Dhruvandhar, this is their biggest OTT deal to date."

When can you watch 'Dhruvandhar' on OTT?
However, the official release date of the film on OTT has not yet been announced. Films usually arrive on OTT platforms 6-8 weeks after their theatrical release. 'Dhruvandhar' was released in theaters on December 5th, so it is estimated that the film might be available on Netflix by the end of January or the beginning of February 2025. The second part of the film, ‘Dhurandhar: Part Two’, will be released in theaters in March 2025, so it's likely that its OTT release will follow later.
