Light camphor in the house
Burning camphor in the house at least once a week removes negative energy and the blessings of the gods and goddesses remain. Light it at the place of worship.

Light a mustard oil lamp.
Light a mustard oil lamp in the evening worship and put two cloves in it. By keeping it near the main door, gods and ancestors are pleased and the defects of the house are removed.

Take out the first roti for the cow.
By adding a little jaggery or sugar to the roti and feeding it to the cow, positive energy remains in the house, and blessings of ancestors are received.

Feed the birds
Feeding the birds every morning is a virtuous act. This reduces the defects of the horoscope and maintains happiness and peace in life.

Do not sweep after sunset.
Sweeping in the evening makes Goddess Lakshmi angry and poverty can come into the house.

Rules for eating
Always eat facing the east or north direction. Never eat while sitting on the bed. Offer food to the gods before eating.

Rules for the Puja Ghar
Do not keep more than one idol or picture of gods and goddesses in the house. Always make the Puja Ghar in the northeast direction. Perform puja and aarti every morning and evening.

Worship the Peepal tree on Saturday.
Offer black sesame seeds, raw milk, Gangajal, and jaggery to the Peepal tree on Saturday. Light a lamp of mustard oil, but do not look back after circumambulating the Peepal tree.
