He revealed how he got a particular dialogue included in the final cut and even took a little help from Sunny Deol for it. What happened was that, during the film's shooting, Varun and the film unit heard a war cry from the cadets of the academy where a part of the film was being shot.
The actress turned up the heat in the biting cold, having fun in the pool wearing a bikini; the pictures have raised the temperature on social media.

How did this dialogue become a part of the film?
Varun said that a senior officer there roared to awaken the dormant जोश (enthusiasm), asking, "How far should the voice reach?" and the answer came, "To Lahore." Talking about this to the media, Varun said, "I felt that we should definitely include this part in the film. If they hadn't written it before, they probably wouldn't have added it to the script." Then I went to Sunny sir and whispered in his ear, "Sir, please say this dialogue. This is a very big and authentic-sounding moment. Please use it."

Varun Dhawan got goosebumps.
The actor further explained, "That's why I only used it in the teaser. Sunny Paaji said, 'Okay, let's do it.' At that time, I had no idea how it would turn out, so I kept pestering Paaji. To be honest, when that scene happened, I got goosebumps. The trainer who was there, his voice was truly amazing. The way he roared, I'm sure his voice must have reached Lahore."
