Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgan and Tiger Shroff have to pay heavily for advertising paan masala. A complaint has been filed against the three stars in the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum in Jaipur. The commission has issued a notice to all three in this case. The complainant has accused them of promoting 'Vimal Pan Masala' by claiming the presence of saffron.

A person named Yogendra Singh has filed a complaint against Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgan and Tiger Shroff in the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum in Jaipur. Commission Chairman Gyarsilal Meena and member Hemlata Agarwal have ordered to issue notices to Shahrukh Khan of the Hindi film industry, besides Ajay Devgan and Tiger Shroff.

Notice issued to all three stars
A notice has been issued to Ajay Devgan, Tiger Shroff and Shahrukh Khan for the alleged misleading advertisement of the pan masala brand 'Vimal Pan Masala'. In this advertisement, it has been allegedly claimed that every grain of pan masala contains saffron. Yogendra has accused the actors of falsely promoting pan masala by claiming the presence of saffron and has demanded a ban on the alleged misleading advertisement.

A complaint was filed earlier too.

Earlier, social activist Inder Mohan Singh Hani in Kota, Rajasthan had filed a complaint against the three actors in the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. The complaint states that the actors are misleading the youth by promoting pan masala containing saffron. He said in his petition that the youth consider these actors as their role models and when these stars promote a product, it affects millions of people.

Akshay Kumar distanced himself after criticism.

This is not the first time that Bollywood stars have been embroiled in controversies over advertising pan masala. Ajay Devgan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Akshay Kumar appeared together in the Vimal Cardamom advertisement, which caused a huge controversy. However, when people criticized it, Akshay Kumar distanced himself from the advertisement.
