Sania Mirza Parenting Journey: Only a mother can understand how difficult parenting is, that is, raising children. As special as the experience of becoming a mother is, it also has as many challenges. Indian tennis star Sania Mirza recently shared her parenting experiences with everyone. 38-year-old Sania Mirza, in a conversation with fashion influencer Masoom Minawala, told what changes came in her life after becoming a mother. She openly told that after becoming a mother, she got to learn a lot, and this journey is not easy.

Guilt after becoming a new mother
In a conversation on Masoom Minawala's podcast, Sania said that when she had to leave her son Izhan and go to work for the first time, she felt very guilty. Just six weeks after delivery, she had to go to an event in Delhi, and that moment was very difficult for her.
She said that after becoming a mother, women often blame themselves, whereas in reality, all this is very normal. Children learn to adapt quickly.
Mother has to handle more responsibility.
"Parenting is never 50-50 - it's always the mother who does more," said Sania Mirza, adding that mothers still do not get equal status in the world. Even if the father is there, most of the responsibility is on the mother, and she bears a lot both emotionally and physically.
Breastfeeding and emotional exhaustion
Sania said that when her son Izhaan was young, she was breastfeeding him. So she had to pump milk on the flight itself - this was very challenging for her, both physically and emotionally. The whole day, she was worried about leaving her son alone at home. But when she returned home and saw that everything was fine, she was relieved and regained some confidence.
Now, when she remembers that moment, she feels that going out to work was a good decision. This convinced her that one can manage a professional life along with being a mother.
The unseen hard work of being a mother
Sania told how many responsibilities she takes up as a mother - whether it is getting up at night to take care of the child or planning every small and big thing. Despite being the world's top athlete, Sania admitted that breastfeeding was the most difficult phase after becoming a mother. It is not only physically tiring, but also mentally. Because you take the entire responsibility of the child's food and drink. Lack of sleep, time constraints and planning everything according to breastfeeding seemed the most challenging to her.

A new perspective on parenting
Sania believes that the way of parenting is different for every home and every child - the most important thing is that the child is healthy and happy. Sania believes that as long as the child is healthy and happy, everything is fine. She also said that the burden that is put on women in the name of society and traditions is not right. The responsibility of parenting should be of both parents, not just the mother.
