How did he know about the attacker?

Talking about the attack on the morning of January 16, 2025, Saif Ali Khan said that his wife and actress Kareena Kapoor Khan had gone out for dinner and he was at home for work. When Kareena returned, they talked for a while before going to sleep. After a while, the servant said that someone had entered Jeh's room. He has a knife and is asking for money. It was around two o'clock in the night and Saif Ali Khan confronted the man. There was a scuffle between the two. Because the man had a knife, Saif Ali Khan suffered several injuries during this. Saif has revealed this in a conversation with the Times of India.

Domestic help helped
Recalling the incident, Saif Ali Khan said that when he was scuffling with the attacker, the domestic help Geeta pushed the attacker and pushed him back. During this, both he and Geeta quickly moved away and closed the door. Saif said that after the attack he was soaked in blood and his right leg became numb. However, at that time he did not know that the injury was in the spine. He thought that a knife was stabbed in the leg.

When Saif started having severe pain in his back, she immediately decided that now he should go to the hospital and she took younger son Jeh to her sister's house.

Taimur and the household took Saif to the hospital.

According to Saif Ali Khan, his elder son Taimur remained completely calm during this incident. When he was going to the hospital, Tim also insisted on going with his father. Saif said that Kareena had asked Taimur to go to the hospital with him and his decision was right because he did not want to go alone. The MRI report came and a spinal neurosurgeon was called. Dr. Nitin Dange came to the hospital at night and the surgery was done. The surgery lasted for about six hours, of which only the spinal surgery took two and a half hours.

Why was there no driver at night?

Saif answered this by saying that if there is no special need, his driver does not stay overnight. He said that some employees stay at home, while the driver usually goes home. Saif said that if he had got the keys to the car, he would have driven himself. However, he said that he did not drive himself, it was also good because the condition could have worsened due to spinal injury.
