If you look at today's cricketers, they are seen doing brand endorsements of many companies along with playing for Team India. Almost most of the cricketers promote cricket fantasy apps like Dream 11, My 11 Circle for money. Today we are going to tell you the story of Sachin Tendulkar in which the company was offering him a blank cheque but he rejected it.

Sachin Tendulkar had said during an interview, "When I started playing for India, I had just left school. I started getting many advertising offers, but my father told me never to promote any tobacco products. I also never promoted tobacco. Even the owners of the company were ready to give me a blank cheque." Sachin further said, "This was a promise I made to my father. I had promised him. After that, he told me that I am a role model and many people will appreciate my work. This is the reason I never advertised tobacco products or alcohol. There was no sticker on my bat in the 1990s. Because I did not have any contract." After retiring from ODI cricket in 2012, he retired from all formats of cricket after playing his 200th Test match in November 2013. Tendulkar played a total of 664 international matches, in which 34,357 runs came from his bat. Sachin has 100 centuries to his name in international cricket. No cricketer has been able to reach anywhere close to this. It remains to be seen who breaks his record.
