14-year-old batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has done a great job beyond his age by performing brilliantly. He also completed a century after scoring the fastest half-century of T20 and the current season. Vaibhav made a big record by scoring the first century of his IPL career in 35 balls. He became the fastest Indian to score a century in IPL. He broke the record of Yusuf Pathan who had scored the fastest century in 37 balls.

Dravid celebrated like this.
Bihar's son Vaibhav Suryavanshi got out after playing a century innings. He played an innings of 101 runs in just 38 balls, batting at a strike rate of 265.78. During this, seven fours and 11 sixes came off his bat. Vaibhav's historic innings forced Rahul Dravid to dance as well. Despite a leg injury, the team's head coach was seen standing at his place and celebrating Vaibhav's century. Its video is viral on social media.
Second batsman to score the fastest century in IPL
Vaibhav is 14 years and 32 days old, but he has broken Yusuf Pathan's 15-year-old record. Vaibhav has become the fastest Indian to score a century in IPL. In 2010, Yusuf Pathan scored a century in 35 balls against Mumbai Indians and he was the fastest Indian to score a century in this tournament. His record has now been broken in 2025. That is, Yusuf did this feat when Vaibhav was not even born and now this young batsman from Bihar has broken a record older than his age. Overall, the record for scoring the fastest century in IPL is in the name of Chris Gayle who scored a century in 30 balls against Pune Warriors in 2013.
