Actor Rishab Shetty's film Kantara Chapter 1 has been released. The film received a great response at the box office. Impressed by the film's success, Rishab recalled his struggling days when he couldn't even find a single screen to release his film.

He wrote, "From struggling to get a single evening show in 2016 to 5,000+ houseful shows in 2025. This journey has been nothing but your love, support, and God's grace. Previously, a film couldn't find a screen.
In his post, Rishabh shared an old tweet from 2016, when his directorial debut, "Ricky," was released. Starring Rakshit Shetty, Haripriya, Achyuth Kumar, and Ravi Kale, the crime thriller struggled to find a screen.

After much effort, a 7 p.m. show was secured.
At the time, Rishabh wrote in Kannada on X (formerly Twitter), "Finally, after many people's efforts, we've secured a 7 p.m. show at Big Cinema in Mangalore starting tomorrow. Those who want to watch it can do so."

As soon as Rishabh shared this tweet, fans flooded the comments section, showering him with love and affection. One fan wrote, "You deserve every bit of it. I just came out of the cinema.
