Rajasthan Royals, who have lost 6 matches in IPL 2025, are now caught in a do-or-die situation. Head coach Rahul Dravid has also started getting frustrated after his team slipped to eighth position in the points table. Now Rajasthan Royals' next match is to be played against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday. Rahul Dravid admitted a day before this match that Rajasthan Royals are in no position to make any more mistakes. His team has no other option but to win the match.

Rajasthan Royals team has played 8 matches in IPL 2025, out of which it has won only 2. If it has to remain in the playoff race, then it will have to win at least 5 out of the remaining 6 matches. The Rajasthan team will take on host Royal Challengers Bangalore at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday. Coach Rahul Dravid Dravid said a day before the match, 'This is a very important match for us. We cannot afford to make mistakes in the situation we are in. We are in the bottom half of the table after a little more than half of the tournament.'
He said, 'We have to climb up the points table quickly and for this, we have to win matches. Now there is no option. There is no scope for slipping.' Dravid admitted that his team has not performed well in difficult circumstances in this tournament. He said, 'We know that we have to play well to stay in this tournament. Now we have lost some close matches in this tournament but we have also played some good cricket.'

Rahul Dravid said that the fitness of the team's regular captain Sanju Samson is being assessed daily. He will be out of the match against RCB due to a stomach injury. He said, 'I think Sanju had some trouble in the match against Delhi (Capitals) and he will not be able to play in this match as well. Our medical team did not consider him fit to play in this match.'
