In the video, Madhavan begins by expressing his gratitude to everyone for the tremendous response the film has received from the audience. Subsequently, addressing the scene that drew objections, he stated that a misunderstanding had occurred. The actor clarified, "We recently became aware of allegations that, in a scene from this film, I was smoking a cigarette while reciting lines from Guru Gobind Singh Ji's *Dasam Granth*. This has offended some. I assure you, this is not true. A misunderstanding has taken place. The cigarette was extinguished long before the scene began."

He Added: "Aditya Dhar Had Already Advised Me."
Madhavan further explained, "Aditya Dhar is extremely particular about such matters. He had specifically instructed me to extinguish the cigarette well in advance—long before I recited those lines. He told me, 'Ensure that no smoke issues from your mouth, no smoke is visible on screen, and that you are not holding the cigarette in your hand, as this subject is deeply sacred to us.' I duly extinguished the cigarette. If you watch the scene carefully, you will be convinced that neither is smoke coming out of my mouth, nor is there any trace of cigarette smoke anywhere within the frame. Furthermore, there is absolutely no sign of the cigarette throughout the entire duration of the scene."

Madhavan stated, "We stand with the Sikh community."
Madhavan further added, "We know that we would never wish to hurt anyone's sentiments, even inadvertently. We stand in solidarity with the entire Sikh community—and always will. We hold them in the highest regard. As everyone knows, I personally visit the Golden Temple before the release of every single one of my films. We had absolutely no intention of offending anyone, nor did we do so. At the very beginning of the scene in question, I am holding a cigarette; however, the moment the scene actually commences, I make a point of properly extinguishing it." Madhavan concluded by saying, "If anyone has felt hurt—whether intentionally or unintentionally—I sincerely apologize."
