Parenting Tips: The risk of children falling ill increases significantly during the winter season. Due to weakened immunity, children tend to get sick more frequently in the cold weather. Extra care for newborns becomes especially crucial. Even a small oversight can lead to serious problems for the child. Cold winds can cause dryness in the skin of both adults and children.

To alleviate this problem, parents often buy various creams from the market. But do you know which cream is best for your child? That's why today we're going to tell you which cream is best for babies, and what things you should keep in mind when buying cream for your child. This information was shared by parenting coach Archana Malik in a video on her Instagram handle.
Which cream is best for babies?
Parenting coach Archana explains that for newborns and young children, you should always choose a lightweight cream that isn't too sticky. However, the cream should effectively hydrate the baby's skin. Water-based and gel-textured creams are considered best for children because they are easily absorbed into the skin and provide a cooling and comforting effect. Heavy and sticky creams should be avoided, as they can block the baby's skin pores.
What to keep in mind when buying cream?
When buying baby cream from the market, you should pay attention to its ingredients. The parenting coach has mentioned some ingredients that are considered beneficial to have in a cream.
1. Glycerin: This locks in moisture in the baby's skin. It also makes the skin soft.
2. Chamomile: This is a soothing ingredient that reduces itching, irritation, and redness in the baby's skin.
3. Coco Glycerides: This ingredient is essential for combating dryness. Being derived from coconut, it is gentle and natural. 4. Cornstarch - Cornstarch is very helpful in preventing dryness in the baby's diaper area.
