What things are Panchamrit made of?

Panchamrit is made by mixing milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar or jaggery. Cow's milk, ghee made from it, and curd are used in it.

1. Cow's milk
2. Curd made from cow's milk
3. Ghee made from cow's milk
4. Honey
5. Jaggery or sugar

Panchamrit is made from milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar.

Correct amount of ingredients to make Panchamrit
1. 4 tablespoons milk
2. 2 tablespoons curd
3. 1 teaspoon ghee
4. 1 teaspoon honey
5. 1 teaspoon sugar or jaggery

Correct method to make Panchamrit
1. To make Panchamrit, first take a vessel of silver, brass, or steel.
2. Now, first add milk to it, and then add curd to it.
3. After this, add ghee to it and mix all three well.
A copper vessel should not be used to make Panchamrit.
4. When the solution of milk, curd, and ghee is ready, add honey, sugar, or jaggery to it.
5. Then mix it well. While mixing these five things, keep in mind that all these things should be mixed in a clockwise direction.

6. When Panchamrit is made for Lord Shiva, then Tulsi leaves will not be added to it because Tulsi is not used in Shiva worship.

7. If Panchamrit is made for Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna, then add Tulsi leaves to it at the end.

8. To make Panchamrit, offer it to the Shivling while chanting the Om Namah Shivaya mantra.

Keep these things in mind while making Panchamrit.

1. Copper utensils should not be used to make Panchamrit. Milk or curd is not kept in copper utensils.

2. Purify yourself before making Panchamrit. Wear clean clothes after taking a bath etc. Make Panchamrit only after that.

3. While making Panchamrit, meditate on the name of God. Do not keep any impurity in your mind. Do not keep anger, hatred, malice etc.
