Mahakumbh 2025: You must have seen many sadhus covered with ashes... but have you seen Naga sanyasis of A, B, C?

Prayagraj News: When we reached closer, some Naga Sadhus had letters written on their backs in the same way as you see when you go to a spectacle shop or hospital for an eye test. When we inquired about it, we came to know that people are getting free eye tests here. There is an organization that is doing eye tests for people, and that too for free. Although many organizations in Mahakumbh are providing their services for free. Some organizations at the fair are also distributing glasses after checking eyes for free, while some organizations are providing chairs and other supporting materials to help people in case of disability.

Many organizations are working on the problem of eyes and diabetes, but the method adopted by the Eyebets Foundation was very unique. In this regard, their officials informed us that they started this work on February 10 and it will continue till the end of the Mahakumbh fair. They said that due to diabetes, many people are likely to face the problem of blindness and they are making people aware.

When asked what is the reason behind associating with Naga sanyasis in this way? He said that the 'Undekkha Eye-Test' campaign is proof of the power of out-of-the-box thinking and collective work, which shows how even the most neglected issues can be brought to light through innovation and empathy.

He felt that if the Nagas were the biggest attraction of Maha Kumbh, then people should be made aware of them. The sanyasis are such that to make people aware, they have A, Kha, Ga, and Gha written on their bodies so that people remain alert about their health and eyes.
