According to actor Kunal Khemu, many other things in life are more important than New Year's resolutions. He is currently appearing in the Netflix web series "Single Papa."

As 2025 draws to a close, many people have high hopes for the new year. However, actor Kunal Khemu has a different perspective. He says that every year is an important chapter in life. For him, it's enough that he's alive this year, getting to spend time with his family, and getting opportunities to do new kinds of work. What more could he ask for?
"My confidence has increased," says Kunal.
Kunal, who recently starred in the Netflix show "Single Papa," further adds that doing this show has boosted his confidence, making him believe he can do something new. Often, actors don't have the luxury of choosing new projects or taking risks. They end up doing the same kind of work repeatedly.
"I said yes after hearing the story of the first episode."
However, compared to ordinary people, an artist's life is such that they get to do something new all the time. Being an artist has its advantages. In one lifetime, we get to live many lives. Kunal further says that "Single Papa" is the only content for which he said yes after hearing the story of the first episode. He read the rest of the script later to complete the formalities, but he knew he would be a part of it.
What Kunal Khemu said about gentle parenting
The show discusses parenting and the adoption process simply. Sometimes, after watching a scene, he realized that such a profound message had been conveyed. How much did his personal experience of being a father help him in the show? On this, he says that the way we are raising our children today is different from how we were raised. He wouldn't say that because times have changed, we need to change. The show talks about gentle parenting (raising a child with love and care). Parenting is a personal matter; what works for you may not necessarily work for someone else.
The internet is full of advice, but you have to figure out what your child needs from you. Until children turn 18, they are your responsibility. You can't say that your child is spoiled because of your gentle parenting style.
