Maha Kumbh, the world's biggest event, bid farewell on Wednesday with the last dip of the Mahashivratri festival, making many glorious moments unforgettable on the banks of Sangam. Its cultural consciousness became exemplary and memorable for the world.

It also witnessed a wonderful gathering of saints, stars, and politicians. In Maha Kumbh, American woman industrialist Lauren Powell Jobs, who is among the richest women in the world, imbibed Indian culture by doing Kalpavas at Sangam, while Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, who are among the few richest people in the world, made it unforgettable through service.

Apart from the President, Prime Minister, Chief Ministers, and Governors of most of the states of the country, ministers of the Center and the state also gave the message of unity to the world community by becoming a part of Maha Kumbh. Lauren Jobs wore saffron in the camp of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri of Niranjani Akhara and became Kamala to know the glory of Sanatan.

Similarly, Anant Ambani opened a food center in Sector 1 at Parade and served a plate of favorite dishes to every saint and devotee during the entire Maha Kumbh. Gautam Adani also set an example of hospitality by running a food center in Sectors 7, 3, and 22 in collaboration with ISKCON.

Mahakumbh of music was also wonderful and unforgettable. Padma Vibhushan flute emperor Pt. Hari Prasad Chaurasia, sitar player Padma Shri Shiv Nath Mishra-Devvrat Mishra, Padma Bhushan Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, dancer Donna Ganguly, Hariharan, and many other famous artists gave performances.

In this Maha Kumbh, Hollywood star Coldplay singer Chris Martin and his girlfriend Dakota Johnson also paid homage to the glory of Maha Kumbh by taking a dip in the confluence. Similarly, cine star Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, actress Hema Malini, Katrina Kaif, Preeti Zinta, Raveena Tandon, Rasha Tandon, Juhi Chawla and many other stars reached the camps of Parmarth Niketan president Swami Chidanand Saraswati, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Avdheshanand Giri of Juna Akhara and Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Kailashananda of Niranjani Akhara.
