How to Make Carrot Halwa
Carrots - 500 grams
Milk - 1 cup
Ghee - 2 tablespoons
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Cardamom - 2-3 powdered nuts
Nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios) - 2 tablespoons
Milk powder - 2 tablespoons
Method
First, heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pressure cooker. Add the grated carrots and mix well. Then, add 1 cup of milk and close the lid. After one whistle, reduce the heat to medium and cook for 5-7 minutes. After the whistle stops, open the cooker and mix the carrots well. Then, add sugar and cardamom powder and cook thoroughly. If the halwa seems dry, add a little more milk. Finally, garnish with nuts and serve hot. Your delicious carrot halwa is ready.
Three important tips to keep in mind when making carrot halwa
1. Ghee Balance
Use the right amount of ghee in the halwa. Adding too much ghee can make the halwa too sticky and heavy, while adding too little ghee can diminish its taste. 2 tablespoons of ghee is sufficient.
2. Correct Amount of Milk
Do not add too much milk, as this can make the halwa watery. 1 cup of milk is sufficient, and if the halwa seems dry, you can add a little more.

3. Sugar Amount
When adding sugar to the halwa, ensure it has a balanced taste. Too much sugar can make the halwa heavy, so adjust the amount of sugar according to taste.
