Film director, producer, and writer Anil Sharma has reviewed Agastya Nanda's debut film and Dharmendra's last film, 'Ikkiis'. He wrote about the film and fondly remembered Dharmendra. 'Ikkiis' is scheduled to release in theaters on January 1, 2026. A special screening of the film was held in Mumbai on December 29th. Salman Khan, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Rekha attended the screening.
Director Remembers Dharmendra
On the social media platform X, Anil Sharma wrote, "Watched Dharam ji's last film yesterday and my heart was filled with emotion. Seeing him on screen with teary eyes was a unique feeling. What a role and what a performer he is! He has given this film a unique dignity and depth. Dharam ji will always remain in our hearts."

Anil Sharma further wrote, "Heartfelt congratulations to the entire 'Ikkiis' team. The makers, technicians, and all the actors who helped make this film. Dharmendra ji, you will always live on. Agastya Nanda, in particular, has performed very well in the film."
The Film is Based on the Indo-Pak War
The film 'Ikkiis' is a war drama. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film is based on the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. It tells the story of the youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient, Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. At just 21 years old, he sacrificed his life for his country. This is why the film is titled 'Ikkiis' (Twenty-One).

The Film Was Originally Scheduled for a December 25th Release.
'Ikkiis' was initially scheduled for release on December 25th, but the release date was changed. It will now be released on January 1, 2026. Besides Agastya Nanda and Dharmendra, the film also features Simran Bhatia and Jaideep Ahlawat in important roles.
