Amitabh Bachchan's popular quiz show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' has featured several celebrities from different fields in its ongoing 17th season. Recently, cricketer Shafali Verma and some players from the Indian women's cricket team appeared on the show.

One is a shopaholic, another an 'Angry Young Woman.'
A promo of the Indian women's cricket team's appearance on the show has been released on social media. In it, Amitabh Bachchan interacts with the players and then dances with them. In the show's promo, Amitabh Bachchan is seen saying, "Show the first tag." The tag reads 'Shopaholic'. To this, everyone unanimously says Shafali Verma. Shafali Verma says, "I love shopping, and I keep changing my style." Everyone laughs at this.

Amol Mazumdar sings a song.
The second tag shown is 'Angry Young Woman'. To this, Harmanpreet Kaur says, "I don't know about angry, but a young woman is correct."
The next tag shown is 'King of Melodies'. To this, everyone takes Amol Mazumdar's name. After this, Amol Mazumdar comes on stage and sings a song.

Allow them junk food.
According to TOI, at one point in the show, Amitabh teased the team about eating junk food, especially during tournaments. In response, Shafali said that it's not like that. She said, "No, sir, the coach is saying, ask the coach." Further, Sneh Rana jokingly said that the team also makes the coach follow a proper diet. Immediately after, Amitabh excitedly asked if the team had recently celebrated their World Cup win by eating pizza. Then he turned to coach Amol Mazumdar and said, "Now they have won the World Cup. Now allow them junk food."

In another promo of the show, Amitabh Bachchan asks the team how they celebrate their victories. To this, everyone says by dancing. After this, Amitabh Bachchan says, "Let's do it again then." The song 'Ladki Beautiful' plays on the show, and Amitabh Bachchan dances with the team.

The team won the World Cup last month.
The show's promo also features Harmanpreet Kaur, Harleen Kaur Deol, Richa Ghosh, Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Sneh Rana, and head coach Amol Muzumdar.

It's worth noting that last month, Team India defeated South Africa by 52 runs during the T20 World Cup 2025.
