What is the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY)?
Under the central government's Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY), eligible families are entitled to cashless medical treatment worth up to ₹5 lakh annually. How to complete e-KYC from home:
1. Download the official government 'Ayushman App' on your mobile device.
2. If you wish to use face authentication, also install the 'Aadhaar FaceRD' app.
3. Open the Ayushman App and select the 'Beneficiary' option.
4. Enter your mobile number and log in using the OTP received.
5. Select your state, the scheme, and your district.
6. Search for the beneficiary's details using either your Aadhaar number or ration card number, as per the available options.
7. Select your name from the list of family members and proceed to the 'e-KYC' or 'Redo e-KYC' option.
8. Verify your identity using Aadhaar OTP, face authentication, or any other available verification method.
9. Provide the requested information. If a live photograph is required, capture it and submit your request.
