The makers have now revealed the truth behind reports of "Apne 2" being shelved. Renowned film producer Deepak Mukut has broken his silence on the matter.

Deepak Mukut, while dismissing the shelving of "Apne 2" as a rumor, confirmed that the film has not been postponed. He clarified this in an interview with Times Now. The producer said, "People should stop spreading rumors without verification. "Apne 2" has not been shelved." The film is being made and is being made with full force.' He further said, 'We have been working quietly and continuously, and there is no question of canceling the project. This film is not only on track, but remains one of the most emotional projects of our banner.'
'Apne 2' will be a tribute to Dharmendra.
